What did life give us? Life gave us today.

After years of playing at friends Marta and Adam decided to try a "summer fling". Both had been married before, both had spent time alone and in other relationships, both had carried a crush for more than two decades. 

It only took a few dates, a few nights talking till all hours to realize that this was a deep connection. Adam wanted to say "I love you" every morning after making her breakfast and dropping her off at work. Marta's coworkers teased her how she "had a boyfriend" from all the smiling she did at the clinic. 

Labor Day weekend they set off to Cannon Beach, a road trip to hike, visit Marta's favorite fabric store and figure out what exactly this relationship could be defined as. It didn't take long for them to agree that these feelings weren't going to end with the summer. It didn't take long for girlfriend and boyfriend to be established as who they were.
